Zero is upcoming Bollywood romantic drama movie directed by Anand L. Rai and written by Himanshu. This film jointly produced by Anand L. Rai and Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainments. Rai marks the fourth collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma. The story goes as Shah Rukh Khan as a short man, who falls in love with a superstar played by Katrina Kaif. Anushka Sharma plays a character of a girl with intellectual disability.

The film was initially titled Katrina Meri Jaan. However, this decision was later scrapped because the producers thought the title would be too misleading to people and make them presume the film is about Katrina Kaif. In between 3 different titles were kept and finally Red Chillies Entertainment took a unanimous decision was made to call the film Zero. The initial budget of the film will be around ₹150 crore. The film does have a big budget, but it takes less than the reported amount.

Initially, Salman Khan was approached for this role due to some reason he could not and in 2016 Shah Rukh Khan confirmed to do this role like three four foot physically challenged man. After lot of speculation, Rai confirmed Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif as the female lead actors in this film. The initial release date have been announced by the makers of the film that is on 21 December 2018.
